In October 1943, after eight years as a sales representative for the Reliance Varnish Company and Central Glass Company, working with furniture manufacturers in the Carolinas and Virginia, Hamilton Louden Bruce decided to venture into furniture manufacturing. Today, Hammary offers a variety of styles in living room tables, chairside tables, home office furniture, home entertainment furnishings, and a wide range of accent furniture from the Hidden Treasures collection. The living room table groups include an assortment of items such as rectangular, square, and oval coffee tables, end and side tables, lamp tables, and sofa tables with a choice of wood or glass tops. Additionally, Hammary Furniture carries metal tables styled in wrought iron, cast iron, or cast aluminum with wood, glass, or stone tops.
